A highly original superb example 450SEL long-wheel base 116 USA delivered car. Delivered to Worldwide Motors of Indianapolis, Indiana on 8/4/78. A numbers matching vehicle accompanied by owners manuals.

2 ownership history prior to our acquisition. Held by original owner until 2015.

Incredible factory finish of Anthracite Grey (DB-172) is original on the car except the trunk that was retouched by previous owner at an excellent quality level.

Interior is virtually in time capsule condition highlighting the original supple black upholstery, wood, carpet, and dashpad (flawless). The USA SEL models had no shortage of every option added including AC and electric sunroof. The Becker AM/FM radio-cassette still operates as it should with clean sound through the stock speakers. A factory First-Aid kit lives untouched in the rear shelf area.

Rides on original 14 inch non-chrome bundt wheels wrapped in correctly sized Michelin tires.

Technically the vehicle operates as it should from factory. Upon our acquisition multiple regular and deferred maintenance items were addressed. Records available upon request.

Spotless engine bay with newer hood pad and extremely tidy trunk compartment.

Equipped with: Tool roll still in MB plastic bag, spare wheel and jack.

A collection worthy highly optioned example 116 for the astute Mercedes enthusiast.
