This exceptionally original and well-preserved 450SL is believed to have had just 2 owners from new, and has covered 82,000 miles. The car is understood to have been fastidiously maintained, and was stored in a heated garage for most of its life, this level of care being clearly evident today upon a close inspection. Finished in an elegant astral silver exterior color and with neatly contrasting black mb-tex interior, this Mercedes-Benz perfectly suits the era in which it was one of the finest cars on the road.

Overall the interior is in wonderful condition. There are no cracks on the original dashpad and it shows in excellent shape. Carpet shows very clean. The door cards are very clean and crisp and the black mb-tex is in superb condition with supple padding. This 450SL, delivered in classic astral silver is about the nicest color to accent the beautiful lines of an R107 body. Paintwork shows very nice, all chrome work and rubber moldings are in excellent condition and the glass all around is original Mercedes.

Built for the 1986 model year, the first year of the USA 560SL variant, this wonderful R107 was first sold in the spring of 86′ to a doctor in Texas and originally finished in the rare palette of Nautical Blue Metallic with a Grey leather interior, dark blue convertible top, and color matching hard top. Under prior ownerships the vehicle was regularly maintained to ensure it was always in excellent mechanical and aesthetic condition. As such, the car is accompanied by a service history file which includes the original data card, MB service booklet and maintenance records retained.

The Nautical Blue Metallic paint shows nice deep luster and shine. The glass around is all MB original issue. Chrome, bright work and rubber is all in very nice shape.

Mercedes Silver Star preservation winner! The interior on this 560 is simply gorgeous. Perfect dashpad, crisp clean door cards, very clean original carpet and soft supple original leather showing negligible use. The burlwood trim still shows dark cherry color. An aftermarket Clarion Cassette radio works well through the factory front speakers and the radio power antennae works up and down. Factory hard top interior trim is clean and neat without tears or damage. The dark blue factory issued MB soft top shows excellent condition.

The factory issue 15 inch alloy Gullideckel wheels show nice condition and ride over newer Continental correctly sized tires.

The vehicle is equipped with the factory spare wheel, jack and MB tool roll. Comes complete with factory handbooks and manuals.

This Southern California example is coming out of long term ownership since the early 1990s. Always garaged and well cared for in Villa Park located in Orange County California. It comes with a healthy amount of service records from last ownership. Fastidiously serviced at local independent Mercedes Benz repair facilities. This example is equipped with the double row timing chain. It comes with a clean Carfax available for review.

Excellent body panels, accurate gap space and paint overall in great shape appears largely original factory. All original Mercedes glass. Chrome and rubber shows in really nice condition.

The interior has been highly preserved with minimal UV exposure due to garage parking. The original dashpad shows no cracks and has been covered by a custom fabric cloth layover (there are a few valcro adhesive strips still remaining). Zebrano wood has gloss finish and original color in superb condition. The MB Tex seats material has held up perfectly showing no fade or discoloration. All carpet appears original with vibrant color. An aftermarket Kenwood AM/FM Cassette head unit was installed by prior owner. The dark blue original soft is in good shape and was rarely used.

Hood pad was removed and brown / yellow glue residue shows on underside of hood. This will be covered by the new hood pad installation needed due to age.

Original 14 inch chrome wheels ride over correctly sized 205 / 70 / 14 tires.

We received service history / invoices from last ownership since the early 1990s as well as the Carfax documentation.

Comes with the original spare, tool roll and jack. Also has the original issue MB handbooks / manuals plus 2 Huff key fobs.

Still wearing its factory Signal Red (568) paint in excellent condition with superb depth and gloss. Bright and shiny chrome work. Original MB glass all around.

The interior shows a fine preservation including an original dash pad free of cracks or damage. All the center consul wood still shows dark color and hasn’t suffered from UV exposure. The gauges are crisp still with deep orange color. The door cards and carpet also show a high level preservation and the original Palomino leather seats are in superior condition. An aftermarket head unit / CD player sounds excellent and fully functions.

All 4 wheels are 15 inch factory issue Gullideckel style and have been restored to like new condition with new Mercedes original center wheel caps. The factory correct tires are like new showing 2 year old date codes.

The vehicle was fully prepared for the sale in our usual pipleline preparations. The trunk and engine bay are very clean and the undercarriage is ultra tidy with all wheel wells looking factory delivered. A brand new hood pad was installed.

The drive quality on this example is excellent.

Complete with the Mercedes-Benz original manuals and handbooks. The MB service booklet shows services, mileage readings and dates of services at authorized dealers and MB garages. Comes with the original factory spare still wearing the Pirelli issued tire. Jack and MB tool roll are also present.
