Overall the chassis is solid with some expected wear with age and use. The Alpine White paint contrasts nicely with the replacement black soft top that was installed by last owner.
The black canvas top has clear glass windows and the fabric underneath and outside are in excellent shape. By 1991 BMW was using power operated convertible tops and this example works correctly with the touch of a button up or down. The interior is in nice condition and still has a crack free original dash pad and nice clean original seats without damage or tearing to note. Having the car parked in a garage for the last 20 years certainly has facilitated its preservation from UV and heat damage.
4 Speed automatic transmission pulls very nicely and acceleration purrs with that E30 growl. Definitely an enthusiast example that’s a blast to rip on the open road or tool around your favorite beachside town.
Recently serviced with new motor mounts and a brand new set of correctly sized tires all around. Wearing factory BMW basket weave wheels. Being a California example and definitely garaged the last 2 decades that we can vouch for you won’t find weather or corrosion issues on the car.
