VIN ID # WBABB2316MEC26684

Exterior Color: Alpine White

Mileage: 127,650

Lifetime Southern California car coming out of 19 year ownership. This convertible E30 was used sparingly over its ownership as a weekend extra vehicle. Comes with all the BMW factory handbooks and manuals. Carfax available for review.

Overall the chassis is solid with some expected wear with age and use. The Alpine White paint contrasts nicely with the replacement black soft top that was installed by last owner.

The black canvas top has clear glass windows and the fabric underneath and outside are in excellent shape. By 1991 BMW was using power operated convertible tops and this example works correctly with the touch of a button up or down. The interior is in nice condition and still has a crack free original dash pad and nice clean original seats without damage or tearing to note. Having the car parked in a garage for the last 20 years certainly has facilitated its preservation from UV and heat damage.

4 Speed automatic transmission pulls very nicely and acceleration purrs with that E30 growl. Definitely an enthusiast example that’s a blast to rip on the open road or tool around your favorite beachside town.

Recently serviced with new motor mounts and a brand new set of correctly sized tires all around. Wearing factory BMW basket weave wheels. Being a California example and definitely garaged the last 2 decades that we can vouch for you won’t find weather or corrosion issues on the car.

Complete tool kit affixed to underside of trunk lid. Comes with the original spare and jack. There are 2 original key fobs and master. Complete with original handbooks and manuals. Early BMW service booklet entries.

Later upon her retirement the vehicle was moved to Northern California where it has resided for nearly a decade. The vehicle comes with a clean Carfax available for review.

Introduced in April 1991, the W140 generation of S-Class was a significant leap forward compared to its W126 predecessor. The purchase cost was 25% higher than before, however the price was justified as the W140 is one of the most well-engineered cars to ever be produced by Mercedes. There were many innovations (which are now common place on most modern cars), and this includes double glazed windows, a soft-closing boot lid and doors, xenon headlamps, rain sensing wipers, dual-zone climate control, and much more. The W140 also had a good selection of refined yet powerful engines to choose from.

Finished in Brilliant Silver from the factory, the paint still shows a nice deep shine. A few minor blemishes do show as is consistent with age and use. The vehicle is equipped with closed aid for doors and trunk lid option (883).

The interior on this W140 has remained highly original still showing beautiful condition zebrano wood, soft and beautiful original leather and a perfect dashpad. This model came equipped with a sliding electronic 2 way sunroof and it operates correctly. The carpet shows clean and the door cards are very well kept. The Becker Radio Grand Prix – 2000 still operates. The roof liner / alcantara material is in great shape and all sun visors work including the rear passenger drop down vanity option. The front seat back leather pouches are still in good shape unstretched and the rear shelf does not have sun damage and still houses the original first-aid kit. All the lights work in the rear area.

The Mercedes issued 8 hole light alloy chrome wheels show very nice condition with excellent tread 16 inch correctly sized tires.

A complete set of Mercedes original handbooks and manuals with the MB service booklet and other pamphlets are in tact with the black leather attache. There are 2 key fobs with the vehicle.
