This E28 535i was delivered originally for the Canadian Market and made its way to the United States. Still retains original metric instrument cluster. Rare color combination with 4 speed automatic transmission and limited slip diff.

Original paint with excellent shine and good depth. Correct body panel fitment. All original glass. A few minor imperfections to be expected with age.

Wonderful preserved interior with supple leather, excellent carpet and crisp door cards. New floor mats. Equipped with factory power sunroof. Still retains working original factory BMW radio. Antenna operates correctly. AC blows strong and cold.

Engine bay and trunk are ultra tidy. Underside and wheel wells show outstanding condition.

This 944S2 Cabriolet is part of the 3rd series of 944’s produced that received the more aerodynamic 951 Turbo front apron look with integrated lighting as well as an upgraded 3.0L motor. In addition to the handsome aesthetic upgrade and bigger motor they were produced in very low numbers and specific to 1989-1991 model years.

The black paint shows nice depth and gloss all around with very few imperfections to be expected with age and mileage. Overall very nice appearance.

The linen leather / partial leather upholstery is in great shape and showing little patina considering the light color. White carpet is original in good condition. Original dash pad is perfect without UV damage or cracking. A replacement detachable Sony CD head unit was added. The cabriolet roof was replaced within the last decade and purchased from a top rated vendor. It fully operates like factory design on power mode.

Carefully owned and driven with meticulous service done by all prior ownership. This example exudes what a Porsche enthusiast would desire: Excellent service history documentation that has been retained back to new ownership / Well looked after aesthetics inside and out / Superb drive quality as one would expect from Porsche at all speeds on the road / And no expense spared for timing belt services, tires, original parts, top replacement etc. through the years.

Unbroken 27 year ownership from new until 2021 where it changed hands to the second custodian for a short stint until our acquisition. Lifetime Southern California. Wonderful preservation, still wearing original paint with superb interior quality. Clean AutoCheck by Experian available for review.

Wearing its factory paint in Polar White still with hi gloss and excellent depth. Original Mercedes glass all around. Bumpers and facia show no damage. All moldings and window framings do not have typical weather damage or wear.

Superb interior preservation. All zebrano wood trim appears new. Flawless original dashpad. Gray leather, carpets, door cards and surfaces show virtually zero UV exposure. Soft original leather in wonderful condition.

California lifetime very well preserved and fully documented 126 example that was originally purchased at Gregg Motors Mercedes-Benz of Santa Barbara. With 2 owners since 1988, it has a book of service history. We have a clean Carfax documenting miles, services, emissions and dates of service / registrations. 

The body is straight as an arrow having never been hit and never been painted still wearing its original black factory paint. Other than normal wear, minor scratches and blemishes to be expected with age, the original factory paint still shows nice deep shine. Every body panel has the original VIN tag in place. We had the bumpers refinished upon acquisition to bring back the original fresh look. All original MB glass all around. Still retains original issue CA license plates.

We are super keen on this palomino leather interior that’s been kept out of heavy west coast sunshine. That can easily be seen with the original unblemished leather dash pad, near perfect wood consul and excellent door cards. Original carpet throughout the interior still has vibrant color. Headliner is excellent. Equipped with 2 way power sunroof.

AC is fully operational, through all vents, on all speeds and blows cold.

The engine bay is ultra clean and very tidy trunk.

Still retains its AM/FM Becker Cassette radio that sounds great.

A few of the refurbishments done in preparation of sale include new headlamp bezels and a brand new hood pad. A recent service was done by prior ownership addressing brakes, AC and CA Emissions, steering tie rods and fresh oil service and filter.

Drive quality is exceptional on this vehicle and is exactly as Mercedes Benz would have intended it to be with current mileage if you were to follow the Maintenance book to the mark. Equal only to an example with 1/3 the miles, just excellent. I would describe it as an overly serviced example owned and operated by meticulous keepers. Excellent paint depth and gloss showing consistency on every panel. As evidenced by inspection the original factory paint appears to be all original. MB original glass all around. Every factory MB vin tag located on each body panel is still in place.

Sold new in Carlsbad, CA. by Hoehn Motors-Mercedes Benz. Final model year USA 450SL Just arrived in this rare color scheme, Thistle Green over Cream. Beautiful looks and extensive service history. We have a 3 ring folder full of records, spanning 4 decades back to new purchase in 1980, that has been preserved through prior ownership.

Paint shows bright shine and luster soft to touch. Thistle Green is impressive to the eye.

All orignal MB glass. The brightwork shows well with a few close up nicks. 

A cream interior is an excellent contrast inside the cabin. We installed new OEM replacement MB-Tex seats in matching cream (235). Additionally, we had the seats fully refurbished including rebuilt springs and new padding. The original dash-pad shows no damage. The wood still has nice deep color and presents well. Door cards look to be in excellent condition. The matching lighter cream stock carpet shows well. 

Fluids and oil recently changed and gear shift bushings replaced.

The brown soft top was replaced according to records in 2001. The canvas shows very well as it appears to have been sparsely used.

Still wearing the factory issued 14 inch Bundt style alloy wheels in nice condition. Correctly sized BF Goodrich tires showing negligible wear. 

Extra clean trunk, light color original carpet shows excellent shape and spare tire well is ultra clean.

Full Handbooks, data card and build sheet. 2 original keys including valet key.
